Video localization

Adapting an existing video for another country: translated voice or subtitles, local examples and a version that fits the screen.

  • Localised voice

Video localization: when it fits.

Localization is more than translation. A video also has on-screen text, graphics, music and cultural references that can break in another country.

We review the source, then adapt voice, subtitles and visuals together.

Typical uses

  • A CEO video for every country
  • A product demo for partners abroad
  • A safety video for a multilingual workforce
  • A training video for a new market

What shapes the result.

  • AuditWe check the source for text on screen, idioms and images that will not travel.
  • Voice or subtitlesVoice gives the most natural result. Subtitles are faster, and suit some audiences.
  • TimingLanguages run at different lengths. We adjust the edit rather than rush the read.
  • ReviewA native check of terms and names before release.

What we make

What we make.

  • Source review

A list of what needs to change before any recording.

  • Localised voice

Native talent or directed AI voices in each target language.

  • Delivery

A version per language with captions and a source pack.

What you can hold us to

Checked before it reaches your teams.

Standards we apply to every piece, and the commitments we make before you send anything.

  • Know how it’s made

We tell you whether each piece uses an AI voice or a human one.

  • Reviewed before delivery

Nothing reaches your teams until you approve it.

  • Confidential from the start

We agree confidentiality, access to materials and private delivery with you before we start.

Questions

Before you get in touch.

What is the difference between localization and dubbing?

Dubbing replaces the voice. Localization covers everything that makes a video feel native: voice, text, graphics and examples.

Do we need the source files?

Layered source files make on-screen text changes cleaner. We can also work from a final video with overlays.

How many languages at once?

As many as you need. We keep one master and make each version from it.

What’s your next message?

Tell us who it’s for, what you need to communicate and when you need it. We’ll come back with the approach and the scope.
